  40 .SH DESCRIPTION
  41 This is an extension to the curses library.
  42 It permits an application to determine the string which is defined
  43 in the terminfo for specific keycodes.
  44 .SH RETURN VALUE
  45 The \fIkeycode\fP parameter must be greater than zero, else NULL is returned.
  46 If it does not correspond to a defined key, then NULL is returned.
  47 The \fIcount\fP parameter is used to allow the application to iterate
  48 through multiple definitions, counting from zero.
  49 When successful,
  50 the function returns a string which must be freed by the caller.
  51 .SH PORTABILITY
  52 These routines are specific to ncurses.
  53 They were not supported on
  54 Version 7, BSD or System V implementations.
  55 It is recommended that
  56 any code depending on them be conditioned using NCURSES_VERSION.
