  40 .SH DESCRIPTION
  41 This is an extension to the curses library.
  42 It permits an application to disable specific keycodes, rather than
  43 use the \fBkeypad\fP function to disable all keycodes.
  44 Keys that have been disabled can be re-enabled.
  45 .SH RETURN VALUE
  46 The keycode must be greater than zero, else \fBERR\fP is returned.
  47 If it does not correspond to a defined key, then \fBERR\fP is returned.
  48 If the \fIenable\fP parameter is true, then the key must have been disabled,
  49 and vice versa.
  50 Otherwise, the function returns \fBOK\fP.
  51 .SH PORTABILITY
  52 These routines are specific to ncurses.
  53 They were not supported on
  54 Version 7, BSD or System V implementations.
  55 It is recommended that
  56 any code depending on them be conditioned using NCURSES_VERSION.
