+ Like ncurses5, NetBSD <STRONG>putwin</STRONG> does not identify its dumps
+ with a useful magic number. It writes

+ the first two bytes (e.g., 7 and 1),

+ <STRONG>o</STRONG> followed by a binary dump of the <STRONG>WINDOW</STRONG>,
