Compiled terminfo descriptions are placed under the direc-
tory <STRONG>/usr/share/terminfo</STRONG>. Two configurations are sup-
ported (when building the ncurses libraries):
directory tree for entries that correspond to an
existing directory, and hashed database otherwise.
