  42 This is an extension to the \fIcurses\fP library.
  43 It permits an application to determine if a string is currently bound
  44 to any keycode.
  45 .SH RETURN VALUE
  46 If the string is bound to a keycode, its value (greater than zero) is returned.
  47 If no keycode is bound, zero is returned.
  48 If the string conflicts with longer strings
  49 which are bound to keys, \-1 is returned.
  50 .SH PORTABILITY
  51 This routine is specific to \fIncurses\fP.
  52 It was not supported on
  53 Version 7, BSD or System V implementations.
  54 It is recommended that
  55 any code depending on them be conditioned using \fB\%NCURSES_VERSION\fP.
